Ann Warren was born in Indianapolis, grew up in Indiana and a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in history, both from Indiana State University. Her 20-year journalism career includes roles as reporter, editor and page designer, plus numerous awards. When she isn't working, she can be found reading books, listening to current event podcasts or cheering on her favorite sports teams.
A Michigan-born single mom, she graduated from Albion College. She got her start in journalism as an intern for tPC and is now going on her sixth year with the paper. Toshiba particularly enjoys writing people-focused stories that raise awareness and create dialogue. In her free time, she enjoys cooking with her soon-to-be husband, crafting and watching documentaries.
A bilingual native Miamian of Cuban-born parents, she graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in business and the University of Maryland in 2004 with a master's in journalism. She counts herself lucky to follow Thomas Edison from his boyhood home in Port Huron, Mich., to his retirement home in Southwest Florida without having to make a New Jersey stop. She serves as executive chef to her husband and two children.
