Three children have been removed from the Hunterdon County, N.J., home of Heath Campbell,

who earned notoriety for naming his son Adolf Hitler, police say.

Holland Township police chief David Van Gilson said the 3-year-old Adolf Hilter Campbell was taken out of his home by social services officials along with his sisters, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, The (Easton, N.J.) Express-Times said Wednesday.

JoyceLynn is 1 and Honszlynn is due to turn 1 in April, Van Gilson said Tuesday.

The New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services would not confirm it had removed the children from the home and Heath Campbell maintained Tuesday night his kids had not been taken.

But Van Gilson said the children were removed from the home for unspecified reasons and that a related hearing was scheduled at the Hunterdon County Justice Center for Thursday.

The police chief told the Express-Times the hearing will determine if the children can be temporarily relocated. (c) UPI
