BARBARA MANDRELL, ROY CLARK and session star CHARLIE MCCOY have been named as the class of 2009 at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee.

Country star Mandrell enjoyed chart success with hits like Sleeping Single In A Double Bed and I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool. She also hosted her own TV variety show.

Clark co-hosted country music show Hee Haw and also became a regular on The Johnny Carson Show and The Beverly Hillbillies.

And multi-instrumentalist McCoy is regarded as the most-recorded harmonica player in history. He can be heard on hits by Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel and Joan Baez.
