They say that when Cheyenne Woods steps up to the tee, it's obvious golf is in her Genes. You see, Cheyenne is Tiger Woods' niece and recently made her collegiate debut as a member of the Wake Forest women's golf team.

You know Wake Forest. It is famous for its golfers; Arnold Palmer, Lanny Wadkins and Curtis Strange, among others, played golf at the North Carolina school.

Cheyenne's debut took place earlier in the month at the NCAA Fall Preview.  Cheyenne made the 5-woman starting lineup and posted scores of 75-76-74--225. She finished 26th.

Cheyenne has got the same firm grip and fluid swing, not to mention the wide smile and almond-shaped eyes of her famous uncle.

Like Tiger, she got her first set of clubs as a youngster from the late Earl Woods Sr., her grandfather and Tiger's dad. He taught her how to swing, as he had years earlier with his now famous son.

Cheyenne Woods has played in charity matches with her uncle in support of his foundation and, though she doesn't speak with Tiger on a regular basis, said he inspires her.

"Just seeing him on TV and knowing that someone in my family is succeeding, it's just really motivating," she said.

So far, Woods said she hasn't felt pressured because of her last name.

Cheyenne is from Phoenix Arizona and played high school golf at one of the top programs in the country, Xavier Prep, for legendary coach Sister Lynn.
