Mr. Rourke Ricardo Montalban and 'Prisoner' Patrick McGoohan Dead
by Jim Brogan

Two Hollywood heavyweight actors have passed away within a day of each other. Patrick McGoohan and Ricardo Montalban have both died.

McGoohan passed away Tuesday at the age of 80 after a short illness. He was best known for creating and starring in the cult classic sci-fi TV show The Prisoner in the 1960s. His film credits include, Escape From Alcatraz, A Time to Kill and Braveheart. He also won two Emmys for his work in the detective drama Columbo.

Ricardo Montalban was 88 at the time of his death. Montalban has numerous film credits but is probably best known for three roles, as the mysterious Mr. Roarke on the 70's and 80's television series Fantasy Island, the King of Siam and of course the villainous Khan from Star Trek.

Both of these actors will be sorely missed.
